THE TASK
If you think of accounting and taxes, what’s the first impression that comes to mind? Your answer probably isn’t “fun” or “colourful”. To some, accounting might seem like a dry subject, but it certainly doesn’t have to look that way.
Julie from JSM Accounting wanted to take her brand to the next level, with a visual identity that was reflective of her bubbly personality and the friendly, professional service she provides to her clients.
THE SOLUTION
The whole process started with a logo. JSM Accounting has a slogan “With you, through every stage”. Julie wanted to have the numbers 1, 2 and 3, that represent the process, used in her branding. Circus Creative’s designed a minimalistic logo, that’s actually a thoughtful play on numbers. When turned around, the numerals 1, 2 and 3 can be read as letters J, S and M.
To complement the logo design, Circus Creative used a triangle pattern, plenty of white space, and a bright colour scheme. The typography was kept simple with rounded typefaces, which appear approachable and friendly. The combination of all the elements creates a harmonious and fresh visual identity, which makes accounting look inviting and fun.
