Hei (“Hello” in Finnish), my name is Suvi Tikka and I am a graphic designer, illustrator and an art director. Having worked as a designer since 2002, in 2015 I made my life-long dream come true and founded Circus Creative.

Running my own business allows me to do my best and most creative work. I can concentrate on what I love most, designing. I enjoy the challenge of helping other businesses shine using my skills and experience. Working directly with my clients helps me get to know them, allows me to truly understand their needs and provide them with designs that they’ll love.

I believe true artistry starts with study. I grew up and studied in Finland, graduating with a Masters degree in graphic design from Aalto University of Art and Design Helsinki. This is the root of my strong foundation in Scandinavian design. The core message of Scandinavian design is that good design is not only beautiful, but functional. This is something I truly believe in and still try to achieve in all of my work.

I first came to Australia in 2002 for a university exchange. I fell in love with this country, that I now call my home. Since then, my design style has been hugely influenced and inspired by Australian people, design and culture.
